Le Chais. Booze supermarket.

  This is an excellent port of call for the serious wine connoisseur, being the oldest establishment in the area, founded 135 years ago. Tasting is available and the friendly staff will do what they can to offer advice and guidance. There is also a range of beers, including Stella Artois.

Le Chais is open 7 days a week from 09.00-19.00, but closed for lunch between midday and 14.00.

Situated in Rue de Phalsborg it can be reached by coming off the motorway at junctions 2 or 3 (on the A26) if you are heading out from the ferry port, or junction 45 (A16) if you are returning. It is also served by bus number 2
