Auchan supermarket in Calais

A huge hypermarket which, like its sister shop in Boulogne, offers great deals on beers and wines, whilst at the same time allowing you to stock up on a huge variety of other French shopping. There are many promotions in store, which are continually changing.

Auchan now offer a new service where you can shop for your goods online, on their superb new website. It is simple and fast:-

  1. Log on to their website;
  2. Select your goods
  3. Choose a time and date to collect them
  4. Pay when you pick them up
  5. Put them into your boot!

There is a petrol station on site, with prices comfortably below those in the UK. For example::

Petrol prices 14/04/2008 :
Lead Free 98 €1.384about £1.06 per litre
Lead Free 95 €1.359 about £1.05 per litre
GPL €0.709 about 55p per litre
Diesel Oil €1.229 about 95p per litre

N.B The prices may vary slightly from the prices shown above.
All major credit cards accepted, except American Express and Switch.

Opening hours are 08.30-22.00 Monday-Saturday, but closed on Sunday.

Join the A16 and follow signs for Boulogne. Leave the A16 at Junction 41. Follow the signs for Auchan and Sainsbury’s.		 From the Tunnel-
Straight on to A16, Direction Calais Centre, Exit Junction 43 or Direction Boulogne, Exit Junction 41. Follow signs for Auchan and Sainsbury’s.
